Walking along the time line traced by Di Ruscio's OENOLOGICAL EXCELLENCES:

1950

RED WINE AND WHITE WINE SOLD IN DEMIJOHNS

The grapes are vinified together without distinction between those from different grape varieties. The result is a table wine, red or white, appreciated in all homes and consumed daily with meals.

1980

TRANSFORMATION BEGINS IN THE VINEYARDS

The various types of grapes are no longer scattered randomly between the rows, but are grown in different and separate plots according to their characteristics as well as the time of maturation. New ones are gradually being added to the classic Trebbiano and Malvasia grafts, thanks also to varietal innovation and the grafting of various vine genotypes.

1995

FONTANA FULLON is born

The first bottled wine by Di Ruscio, named after the fountain of the same name in Borgo Campofilone. A vintage red produced in limited quantities, young and fresh like the gushes of ancient Fullon.

1998

CAMPOFILONIS is born

The award-winning Falerio delle Marche. The geographical name recalls its territorial roots and, above all, the region's oldest Controlled Designation of Origin. Campus Fullonis, in fact, was to indicate the fullonic workshops, or the laundries of the Roman Empire present in the area corresponding to the current town of Campofilone. A balanced blend of 3 grapes (Trebbiano Toscano 50%, Passerina 25%, Pecorino 25%) for a white with a discreet, fresh, light and never intrusive character.

2000

The POET'S RED is born

The historic, award-winning Red, which identifies the Cantina dei Poeti as well as the Excellence of the Marche region. A full, structured ruby red, with a pleasantly persistent aftertaste, dry in the mouth, soft and warm, with tannins attenuated by the time spent in barriques.

2005

The ROMANTICO is born

A son of the aromatic family of reds. An intense and enveloping Marche IGT Red. Delicacy and power combined in a balanced blend of Montepulciano and Cabernet Sauvignon.

2005

LUDICO is born

From the homonymous native vine of Arquata del Tronto, the full and fruity taste of this pure Pecorino DOC begins. An early wine, which matures at the end of August and therefore also lends itself well to ageing. Legend has it that the name Pecorino is attributable to the phenomenon of sheep that entered the local vineyards to eat the berries of the renowned product, but this version seems to be devoid of historical foundations.

2005

LA MUSA is born

Like a muse deputed to guard culture and art, this pure Passerina preserves the classic white vinification. A vintage wine, harvested in mid-September, which is descended from an indigenous vine stock, better known as Pagadebiti (an appellation earned because of the high productivity of this particular vine, sufficient to cover the vine grower's debts even in the worst years). The curious name Passerina is due to the greedy sparrows that love to peck at the delicious grapes of its vines.

2010

TENACE is born

The Passerina Brut Sparkling Wine. Tenacious as the persistent perlage that characterises its bubbles. A fine brut made from 100% Passerina grapes harvested by hand and in advance of the right ripening time.

2015

POÈSIA is born

The wine of the Cantina dei Poeti par excellence, an evocative name chosen specifically in homage to grandfather Dante. POÈSIA is a limited edition reserve obtained from a Moresco vineyard. A robust and structured wine with a broad bouquet, which is only produced in the best vintages. Coincidence would have it that just as poetry rhymes even and odd verses with each other, so the Rosso IGT Marche POÈSIA prefers to 'rhyme' with odd vintages (2015 - 2017 - 2019)! A careful selection that is also documented on the back of each label where the bottle number for each vintage is indicated.

2016

VISPO is born

The first Spumante Moscato Dolce from an aromatic Piceno grape variety, very fragrant and with a lively bubble, available in a limited edition.

2016

DiVERSO is born

Spumante Rosato Brut, neither white nor red, therefore different! An elegant and refined Rosé that springs from the processing of Sangiovese grapes from the Ascoli area. Scented, complex, with accentuated notes of red fruits and peach flowers, finely dried on the palate.

2018

PRIMA ROSA is born

A delicate and fragrant rosé like the velvety fragrance of rose petals. The name was chosen by virtue of the very brief contact of the musts with the skins, just enough for a slight intensity of rose to blossom, the PRIMA ROSA (FIRST ROSE). Its grapes grow along slopes overlooking the sea and release a breeze of undergrowth made of fresh fruits such as cherries, strawberries, and blueberries.

2019

DEVIANGO is born

A white wine made from Sangiovese red grapes, or rather: a red wine clad 'de viango' (as it would be called in the local dialect). The Sangiovese grape is a generous grape that in the Aso Valley area is characterised by its particular vegetative deformity. Deviango was born from the shared idea of 4 wineries that have decided to join forces to enhance a typical Fermano wine with new winemaking processes. Its freshness is varied by retronasal notes of strawberry and raspberry as pleasant taste traces of its red grape nature.
